Senior Product Manager, Ads - Shopping Catalogs
Owns the strategy, roadmap, and execution for Reddit’s shopping catalogs and Applied Product Knowledge Graph, improving advertiser onboarding, catalog quality, ad performance, and product discovery. Requires 5+ years of product management experience and deep experience in AdTech, commerce, or product data systems.

Responsibilities
- Reduce advertiser onboarding friction by improving error handling, automating feed-issue resolution, improving product ID and item-group ID matching, and developing URL-to-catalog automation.
- Establish the foundations of a Reddit Merchant Center.
- Drive catalog innovation, including LLM-based catalog enrichment, catalog-driven ad overlays, and Catalog Insights for organic and paid product performance.
- Define and own the 1–3 year Catalogs and Applied Product Knowledge Graph (PKG) strategy and roadmap across ROAS drivers, demand enablers, adoption enablers, and Shopping @ Reddit enablers.
- Expand advertiser demand through Limitless Catalogs, regional metadata, and Shopify integration.
- Build the Universal Catalog and Applied PKG by connecting ad catalogs with the Product Knowledge Graph and organic product mentions on Reddit.
- Define the catalog-to-PKG interface and how scraped products augment advertiser-supplied catalogs.
- Establish metrics covering catalog-driven ROAS, PKG product-view coverage, onboarding time, and revenue unlocked by new capabilities.
- Build dashboards, establish goal-setting cadence, and represent Catalogs and Applied PKG in leadership reviews and executive readouts.
- Partner with Catalogs Engineering, Ads Content Understanding, organic Shopping, PMM, Sales, and Operations.
Requirements
- 5+ years of Product Management experience, including at least 3 years in AdTech, retail media, marketplaces, or shopping/e-commerce platforms.
- Experience with product knowledge graphs, product entity resolution, or product taxonomies at scale.
- Fluency with AI applications for scalable workflows, data analysis, and task automation; evidence of building AI products.
- Experience shipping product feed ingestion, catalog management, product knowledge graphs, retail media catalogs, or comparable systems.
- Familiarity with product feeds and failure modes in Google Merchant Center, Meta Commerce Manager, Pinterest, or TikTok Shop.
- Experience scoping and shipping MVPs as well as improving production systems.
- Experience leading initiatives across at least three engineering teams plus PMM, Sales, and Operations.
- Strong written and verbal communication with executives and senior engineers.
- Ability to make decisions with imperfect information and manage risk/reward tradeoffs.
Nice-to-Haves
- Experience shipping ML-powered products in advertising, content personalization, retrieval, ranking, or content understanding.
- Understanding of retrieval, candidate selection, ranking signals, and LLM-derived versus traditional features.
- Experience with LLM-driven content understanding or feature engineering.
- Experience shipping SMB platform channels such as Shopify, WooCommerce, or BigCommerce.
- Experience with multi-region catalog and pricing systems, including regional metadata, currency, and localization.
- Experience building or operating a Merchant Center, catalog QA tool, or advertiser-facing data console.
Compensation and Benefits
- Base salary range: $190,800–$267,100 USD.
- Equity in the form of restricted stock units; select positions may also be eligible for commission.
