Product Manager, Identity & Access Management
Lead the vision and roadmap for Stripe’s identity and access management experiences across humans, agents, and applications. The role requires 5+ years of product management experience, platform or infrastructure expertise, and technical fluency in authentication and authorization.

Responsibilities
- Set the vision and drive the roadmap for access to Stripe accounts across principals, humans, agents, and applications.
- Design access-granting experiences, including signup, teammate invitations, API key creation, and authorization of agents and third-party applications.
- Define agent authentication, permissions, approvals, and human-in-the-loop checkpoints.
- Develop least-privilege capabilities such as custom roles, permission defaults, and usage-based recommendations.
- Advance secretless authentication through Workload Identity Federation to reduce API key leakage risk.
- Partner cross-functionally with Dashboard, API Platform, Security, Payments, and Money Movement teams.
- Run experiments, monitor usage, learn from results, and iterate quickly.
Requirements
- 5+ years of product management experience.
- Experience shipping platform or infrastructure products used by other teams.
- Background in security, identity, authentication, authorization, or developer platforms, or strong curiosity about these areas.
- Regularly engage users to identify underlying problems.
- Technical fluency in authorization and authentication design.
- Bias toward experimentation over large launches.
- Ability to set direction across teams without direct authority.
