Leads the SIW Platform engineering team building secure, scalable web authentication experiences. The role combines people management, technical roadmap ownership, cross-functional delivery, and expertise in modern web development, enterprise software, security, and identity protocols.

Responsibilities
- Manage the team’s performance, goals, and career development, fostering a collaborative and inclusive environment.
- Partner with product management and technical leads to define the team’s strategic direction and roadmap.
- Maintain high standards for quality, security, and operational excellence through effective processes, mentorship, testing, and automation.
- Lead adoption of new technologies and practices, including integrating AI into the software development lifecycle.
- Drive key projects from inception to delivery, ensuring cross-functional collaboration and clear stakeholder communication.
- Recruit, hire, and retain top engineering talent while building a diverse, high-performing team.
Requirements
- Proven ability to lead, mentor, and develop engineering teams, including performance management and career growth planning.
- Experience managing technical projects from planning through execution.
- Strong understanding of Agile methodologies, including Scrum and Kanban, and CI/CD.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including collaboration with cross-functional and geographically distributed teams.
- Strategic mindset and experience contributing to product and technical roadmaps.
- Strong technical background building scalable, secure, high-performance web applications.
- Familiarity with JavaScript/TypeScript, React, and Webpack or Vite.
- Familiarity with server-side architecture and frameworks including Java, C#, and Spring Framework.
- Understanding of web security principles, secure coding practices, and WCAG accessibility standards.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
- 10+ years of software development experience, including at least 5 years designing and building enterprise-grade software.
- 2+ years managing engineering teams while balancing new product development and maintenance of existing features.
Nice to Haves
- Knowledge of IAM protocols such as OAuth, OIDC, and SAML, and identity management concepts.
- Knowledge of cybersecurity principles and secure coding practices.
- Prior experience as a Tech Lead or in an architecture-focused role.
