Build and maintain Celonis’s on-premises process-mining application while supporting customer migration to its cloud platform. The role requires 3–6 years of software engineering experience, strong Java/Spring/Hibernate skills, and experience with distributed systems.

Responsibilities
- Own the full on-premises product lifecycle, including investigation, implementation, building, and customer delivery.
- Support and maintain project stability and security.
- Update dependencies and implement new standards and protocols.
- Continuously improve software reliability.
- Support on-premises customers migrating to the Celonis Platform cloud solution.
- Improve and automate development processes.
- Mentor and support teammates and contribute to an inclusive engineering culture.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- 3–6 years of hands-on software engineering experience.
- Hands-on experience with Java, Spring, and Hibernate.
- Experience working in geographically distributed environments.
- Ability to address enterprise challenges involving security, compliance, scalability, and data consistency.
- Strong programming, troubleshooting, and issue-resolution skills.
- Experience with microservices-based distributed systems.
- Strong understanding of complex data structures and algorithms in data management.
Nice-to-haves
- Experience with AI-powered IDEs and code-generation tools.
- Experience managing Windows and Linux operating systems, including standard tools, commands, services, permissions, debugging, profiling, and application or system logs.
