Responsibilities

  • Design and implement full-stack, user-facing features for Pinterest’s inspiration and discovery products.
  • Contribute throughout the product lifecycle, from brainstorming and rapid prototyping to A/B testing and scalable implementation.
  • Collaborate with design, product, and backend teams to launch end-to-end solutions.
  • Suggest, prototype, and iterate on product ideas and features from a user perspective.
  • Use automated testing and engineering best practices to deliver reliable, maintainable code.
  • Own features from inception through technical design, implementation, and release.
  • Use AI thoughtfully for prototyping, outlining, synthesizing information, and automating repetitive tasks.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • 3+ years of industry full-stack development experience building consumer- or business-facing products.
  • Proficiency in one or more common backend and frontend technology stacks, such as JavaScript, React, APIs, storage, caching, and data processing.
  • Experience writing reliable and maintainable code that may be used by many engineers.
  • Ability to stay current with emerging technologies and evaluate what should be incorporated.
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to use AI to improve speed and quality in day-to-day work.
  • Ability to critically evaluate and verify AI-assisted work through testing, source-checking, data validation, or peer review.
  • High integrity and ownership, including protecting sensitive data, avoiding over-reliance on AI, and remaining accountable for final decisions and deliverables.

Compensation and Benefits

  • Base salary: $123,696–$254,667 USD.
  • Eligible for equity.
