Software Engineer
Build and own end-to-end web product features using Ruby and JavaScript across service-oriented systems, databases, and message queues. The role requires 3+ years of software development experience, API development, testing, and production ownership.

Responsibilities
- Own product development from feature design and implementation through release.
- Partner with product, design, engineers, customers, and other stakeholders to design and clarify new features.
- Architect, develop, test, deploy, maintain, and improve products and end-to-end web applications.
- Deliver performant, reliable, scalable, and secure code supporting hundreds of thousands of daily transactions.
- Monitor, investigate, triage, and resolve production issues for team-owned services.
- Instrument and deploy product experiments using a data-driven approach.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to ship impactful features and validate customer needs through rapid MVPs.
Requirements
- 3+ years of software development experience.
- Proficiency in Ruby and JavaScript, or similar languages and frameworks.
- Experience with test frameworks and automation, such as Cypress.
- Experience developing RESTful APIs.
- Familiarity with Extreme Programming practices, Domain-Driven Design, and Continuous Delivery.
- Strong documentation, ownership, collaboration, and communication skills.
Nice-to-haves
- Experience with in-house component-based design systems.
Compensation and Benefits
- San Francisco, CA on-target earnings or base salary: $150,000–$176,000 USD.
- Denver, CO on-target earnings or base salary: $127,000–$149,000 USD.
