Build and maintain user-facing features across a full-stack codebase, with opportunities to ship iOS functionality. The role requires proficiency in Go, Rust, or TypeScript, strong testing and communication practices, and ownership across the software development lifecycle.

Responsibilities
- Build and ship new features, product improvements, and bug fixes within the team’s codebase.
- Own delivery of small- to medium-scoped projects with minimal oversight.
- Participate in planning, implementation, testing, release, and post-launch support.
- Write maintainable, well-tested code and contribute to testing strategies and practices.
- Document work clearly and provide context for review and support.
- Conduct thoughtful code reviews that improve quality and reinforce best practices.
- Collaborate with customer support and other partners to investigate issues and prioritize customer feedback.
Requirements
- Proficiency in Go, Rust, or TypeScript, with working knowledge of the tools and technologies needed to work independently.
- Experience building smooth user-facing features.
- Ability to navigate an existing codebase, reuse established patterns, and propose improvements.
- Strong focus on testing, maintainability, and clarity in code and documentation.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Collaborative approach and receptiveness to feedback.
Nice-to-haves
- Experience building and shipping iOS features with Swift and Apple SDKs.
- Experience supporting production systems and participating in on-call or incident response rotations.
- Familiarity with developer workflow improvements, including tooling, CI/CD, testing, and documentation.
Compensation
- United States: $123,000–$172,000 USD annual base salary, plus benefits, paid time off, equity, and applicable incentive programs.
- Canada: $111,000–$155,000 CAD annual base salary, plus benefits, paid time off, equity, and applicable incentive programs.
