Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the sales strategy for the assigned district, leading the team toward quarterly and annual revenue targets.
- Recruit, develop, coach, and manage the performance of a sales organization centered on Account Executives.
- Build long-term trusted relationships with CxO, IT executive, and line-of-business executive stakeholders by understanding their business challenges, IT roadmaps, and data strategies.
- Drive account planning, deal strategy, pipeline management, and forecast accuracy.
- Lead large and strategic deals from opportunity formation and closing through expansion and account growth.
- Collaborate with sales engineering, professional services, marketing, and partners to maximize customer outcomes as one cross-functional team.
- Monitor market trends, competitive conditions, and customer needs, and incorporate insights into Snowflake positioning and go-to-market strategy.
- Develop future leaders and contribute to organizational expansion and sustained growth.
Requirements
- 8+ years of enterprise sales experience in the SaaS or enterprise software industry.
- 3+ years of sales management experience, including team operations, talent development, performance evaluation, and achievement of team targets.
- Demonstrated success leading account planning, deal progression, and closing for large enterprise opportunities.
- Ability to identify customer challenges and communicate solution value and expected outcomes through value selling.
- Ability to manage sales organizations with repeatable processes through forecasting, pipeline reviews, and deal strategy reviews.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage executives directly and build long-term relationships.
- Leadership skills to align internal and external stakeholders and deliver larger, faster results.
- One-team mindset and ability to achieve results collaboratively across functions.
- Business fluency in Japanese and comfort conducting business in English.
- Experience selling to complex enterprise customers.
- Strong interest in data, cloud, and AI, with the ability to continue learning in a rapidly changing market.
- Strength in developing strategic opportunities involving customers, internal teams, and partners.
