Responsibilities
- Drive alignment across engineering, product, and leadership on AI investment priorities and set the multi-year technical roadmap.
- Partner with Product, Design, and Data Science to take high-impact ML initiatives from concept to production.
- Ensure high-quality, efficient data pipelines that support both business and AI needs.
- Define and own success metrics that tie ML work directly to business outcomes.
- Grow and mentor a team of ML/Data engineers, raising the technical bar across the org.
- Lead and mentor a senior team of Managers and Engineers across Machine Learning, Data Engineering and Software Engineering.
- Partner with senior leadership across Engineering, Data Science, Product, and Business to align stakeholders, define multi-year roadmaps, set and execute on iterative milestones.
- Coach and develop team members, helping them grow their careers, technical expertise, and collaboration skills.
Requirements
- 12+ years of overall engineering experience with 5+ years managing a team in a fast paced, high growth tech environment.
- BS, MS or PhD in Computer Science or related field.
- Experience building, leading, and architecting full-stack products and systems at enterprise scale with a great impact.
- Experience in applying modern artificial intelligence technologies to products and development cycles.
- Technical leadership: hands on experience leading project teams, setting technical direction and strategy, and working cross functionally with Product and Data Science teams.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills. Examples of working across teams and organizations on technical initiatives.
Compensation
- Base pay range: $248,000 - $310,000 USD.
- This role may also be eligible for bonus, equity, benefits, and Employee Travel Credits.
