Responsibilities
- Own the 0-1 product design process by conducting research, designing solutions from insights, iterating based on data, and collaborating with product and engineering.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to facilitate design thinking and innovation.
- Lead design solutions for law enforcement, EMS, firefighters, first responders, and 911 dispatchers, focusing on public safety, minimizing cognitive load through information design, visual designs, animations, and feedback.
- Design across devices from multi-panel workstations to mobile apps; standardize design across the team.
- Present designs to customers and leadership, seek feedback, iterate quickly.
- Contribute to design systems and pattern libraries in Figma.
- Drive AI/ML across product portfolio and design methodologies.
- Guide discovery ownership including user research, idea generation, and cross-functional collaboration.
Requirements
- 7+ years of professional product design experience
- 3+ years designing complex enterprise SaaS products
- Experience leading qualitative and quantitative UI/UX/user research
- Experience with end-to-end design and shipping products
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Nice to Haves
- Experience in law-enforcement, fire, or EMS software
- Co-designing with customers
- Designing features for situational awareness
- Excellent visual design and presentation skills
- Understanding of native iOS and Android applications
- Experience with AI/ML technologies
Compensation
- Target base annual salary: $150,000 - $200,000 plus bonus, stock options, health insurance, PTO, 401k.
