Delivers end-to-end, customer-facing software and data solutions for high-stakes government projects, combining architecture, coding, large-scale data work, and executive collaboration. Responsibilities
- Work directly with customers to understand critical problems and design and implement data-driven solutions.
- Own end-to-end execution of high-stakes projects in small teams with minimal supervision.
- Discuss architecture with engineers, work with large-scale data, build custom web applications, engage customer executives, and establish team strategy.
- Collaborate with internal teams and customers, often on-site, to understand and solve problems.
- Travel to client sites as needed; 25–75% travel is required, depending on location and team.
Requirements
- Proficiency in both English and Japanese.
- Security clearance or ability to obtain clearance.
- 1+ years of relevant post-college work experience.
- Strong engineering background, preferably in Computer Science, Mathematics, Software Engineering, Physics, or Data Science.
- Strong coding ability in Python, Java, C++, TypeScript/JavaScript, or similar languages.
- Analytical mindset and ability to solve technical problems involving data structures, storage systems, cloud infrastructure, front-end frameworks, and other technical tools.
- Experience or interest in using large-scale data to solve business problems.
- Ability to collaborate with technical and non-technical teams in rapidly changing environments.
- Ability to learn continuously, work independently, and make decisions with minimal supervision.
- Willingness and ability to travel to client sites as needed.
