Responsibilities
- Collaborate within your team to build new features targeted at highest impact enterprise customers
- Contribute to platform scaling initiatives as part of monolith-to-services modernization
- Meet regularly with Product and Design to refine requirements
- Attend agile ceremonies to plan and execute work
- Work across squads to improve Engineering practices
- Review implementation plans and pull requests from peers
- Mentor and coach other team members
- Participate in on-call rotation for critical production issues
Requirements
- 7-10 years of professional software development experience in a SaaS or technology-driven environment
- Strong hands-on full-stack engineering skills with ability to independently design, build, and ship production changes across frontend and backend systems
- Experience building and maintaining Node.js services that interface with distributed APIs, LLMs, or similar mixed-stack environments
- Hands-on experience with Service-Oriented Architectures (SOA), microservices, and monolith-to-services modernization or large-scale refactoring initiatives
- Proven ability to own features end-to-end including technical discovery, design, implementation, testing, release, and ongoing maintenance
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to dissect complex systems and deliver scalable, maintainable solutions
- Commitment to writing clean, reliable, and maintainable code with emphasis on readability, simplicity, and performance
- Adaptability to new technologies, evolving architectural patterns, and changing organizational priorities
- Experience using AI coding assistants (Copilot, Cursor, etc.) as productivity tools
- Availability for on-call rotation
- Authorized to work lawfully in the United States

Compensation & Benefits
- Base salary ranges by tier (subject to change based on experience, skills, location, and internal equity):
- Tier 1 (SF, San Jose, NYC): $224,400–$271,920
- Tier 2 (Chicago, Austin, Denver, Boston, DC, Philadelphia, Portland, Seattle, Miami, other CA cities): $205,700–$249,260
- Tier 3 (all other locations): $187,000–$226,600
