Product Strategy and Corporate Development Lead

Leads product strategy, acquisitions, venture investments, and strategic partnerships across European technology markets, with emphasis on AI-native and infrastructure companies. The role requires 3–7 years of relevant experience, strong technical and AI literacy, and the ability to operate autonomously with senior stakeholders.

Responsibilities

  • Partner closely with Product and Engineering leaders to identify new areas of interest and acceleration before an M&A target is identified.
  • Monitor market trends in AI/ML, observability, security, and cloud infrastructure to inform growth strategy.
  • Identify and evaluate M&A targets and venture investment opportunities across European markets, focusing on AI-native and infrastructure companies.
  • Build relationships with founders, venture capital firms, and accelerators across the Paris, London, and Iberian ecosystems to generate proprietary deal flow.
  • Lead end-to-end due diligence, including technical product assessments, financial modeling, valuation analysis, and integration planning.
  • Assess target-company technical architectures, product fit, and team quality with senior Engineering and Product leaders.
  • Negotiate and close acquisitions, investments, and hyperscaler partnerships.
  • Develop strategic recommendations for senior leadership, including the CEO.

Requirements

  • 3–7 years of experience in corporate development, venture capital, engineering, or product management at a high-growth technology company.
  • Demonstrated technical depth, including the ability to analyze products, understand architectures, and engage credibly with Product and Engineering leaders.
  • Strong AI literacy and familiarity with current AI/ML infrastructure trends.
  • Experience covering or operating within European technology markets; Paris, London, and/or Iberia experience is strongly preferred.
  • Experience at an AI-native company, including AI infrastructure, LLM tooling, or applied AI, is a strong plus.
  • Self-starter who thrives with high autonomy in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment.
  • Track record of sourcing proprietary opportunities through personal networks.
  • Ability to engage senior stakeholders, from startup founders to C-suite leaders, with credibility and confidence.
