Account Director, State and Local Government
Own and grow a portfolio of strategic West Coast state and local government accounts, driving AI adoption and managing consumption revenue targets through complex public sector sales cycles.
The Government Account Director will manage key U.S. Defense and Intelligence Community accounts, driving the entire sales cycle from pipeline generation to closure. This role involves partnering with engineering teams to build and execute complex defense customer programs and owning a National Security Community consumption revenue target.
Our Government Sales team has a unique mission to help national security customers understand the transformative impact that highly capable AI models can bring to their critical missions. This role combines technical understanding, strategic vision, partnership management, and value-driven strategy specifically tailored to Defense and Intelligence Community customers. You’ll drive key opportunities through the entire defense sales cycle, from pipeline generation to closure. You’ll collaborate closely with researchers, engineers, and solution strategists to help customers within the Defense and Intelligence Communities advance their national security missions through AI. This role is based in Washington DC. We use a hybrid work model of 3 days in the office per week and offer relocation assistance to new employees.

Own and grow a portfolio of strategic West Coast state and local government accounts, driving AI adoption and managing consumption revenue targets through complex public sector sales cycles.
Lead and scale a new business sales team selling Rippling IT Cloud products. Drive pipeline, forecasting, coaching, and execution across SMB to upmarket segments.
Lead retail energy vertical expansion by owning full sales cycles, defining GTM strategy, and building relationships with fraud, risk, and compliance leaders at energy providers. Requires 5+ years enterprise SaaS sales experience.
Own and win the largest, most complex health system accounts as a hands-on player/coach. Personally drive strategic deals, coach the team, and build the operating model for eight-figure partnerships.
Own client relationships and drive transaction outcomes for private securities at Forge. Requires 7-10 years institutional sales experience, Series 7/63 licenses, and a bachelor's degree.
