Responsibilities
- Build developer experience and SDKs: APIs, SDKs, docs, examples, and integration flows.
- Develop agent memory primitives: context, memory, retrieval, freshness, relevance systems (episodic memory, procedural memory, context generation, query expansion, agent-ready summaries).
- Build and improve integrations and data pipelines (Slack, Gmail, Notion, Drive, Linear, other company knowledge sources).
- Conduct product discovery through customer proximity: talk to developers, identify pain points, build reusable product improvements.
- Lead zero-to-one product development from idea to shipped product.
Requirements
- 3+ years experience building product as backend, full-stack, product, AI, or developer tools engineer.
- Fluency in Python and TypeScript.
- Strong backend engineering ability.
- Experience or strong interest in AI agents, LLM systems, retrieval, memory, context engineering, or developer tools.
- Strong product judgment and bias toward shipping.
- Clear communication and good user empathy.
- Enjoyment of building developer tools.
- Ability to work onsite in San Francisco.
Compensation
- $150k-$220k base salary.
- 0.5%-1.5% equity.
