Product Manager

The Product Manager will own the strategy, roadmap, positioning, and growth of an industrial firewall product, partnering with engineering, sales, marketing, and customers. The role requires at least four years of product management experience, strong cybersecurity knowledge, and enterprise stakeholder communication skills.

Responsibilities

  • Own the product strategy and roadmap, aligning it with customer needs, market dynamics, and business goals.
  • Drive customer adoption and engagement by optimizing the end-to-end user experience for enterprise users.
  • Conduct competitive analysis and market research to identify trends, gaps, and opportunities.
  • Define and evolve product positioning and messaging with marketing and sales.
  • Collaborate with engineering, UX, and QA teams to deliver secure, scalable product enhancements.
  • Partner with sales, marketing, and customer success on go-to-market strategies, launch plans, and enablement tools.
  • Use customer feedback and product usage data to identify growth opportunities and guide decisions.
  • Establish and track key metrics to evaluate product success and inform improvements.
  • Represent the product in strategic customer conversations, analyst briefings, and industry events.
  • Develop a deep understanding of target audiences, pain points, and competing solutions.

Requirements

  • Strong understanding of cybersecurity and ability to communicate complex technical concepts to technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Experience supporting business development efforts and managing complex, multi-stakeholder sales cycles.
  • Experience with large enterprises and public sector clients is a strong plus.
  • Exceptional storytelling and communication skills for customer conversations, executive briefings, and industry events.
  • Experience developing channel and OEM partnerships.
  • At least 4 years of product management experience in software development companies.
  • Cybersecurity experience and hands-on experience with industrial-grade firewalls are preferred.
  • Experience working on integrated product platforms is highly valued.
  • Customer-focused approach with the ability to translate user needs into product capabilities.
  • Experience working across regions or multilingual capabilities is valuable.

Compensation

  • Gross monthly base salary of 1,640,000–2,200,000 HUF, depending on location and experience.
  • Compensation excludes equity and bonus.
