Senior Product Manager - Core Experience

Own the core product experience for n8n, making workflow creation intuitive for first-time users while supporting advanced technical builders. The role requires strong software product management, UX judgment, technical fluency across APIs and integrations, discovery skills, and AI-native product thinking.

Responsibilities

  • Own high-impact product areas across n8n’s core builder experience, from problem discovery and product strategy through launch and continuous improvement.
  • Identify and solve high-leverage problems across workflow creation, configuration, debugging, and production use.
  • Turn technically complex capabilities into intuitive product experiences with Design and Engineering.
  • Shorten the path from an idea to a working workflow by improving setup, configuration, connectivity, and access to external services.
  • Shape experiences for AI models, web search, integrations, and other services while balancing simplicity, transparency, and control.
  • Define flexible, extensible builder experiences and platform capabilities involving integrations, data, credentials, schemas, reusable capabilities, and MCP.
  • Partner with Engineering and developer-facing teams to scale the product across services, use cases, and technical users.
  • Engage customers, community members, and internal teams to understand workflows, pain points, and opportunities.
  • Define product bets, success metrics, and priorities using quantitative and qualitative insights.
  • Lead cross-functional teams across Engineering, Design, Data, Developer Relations, Documentation, Product Marketing, Support, and Customer Success.

Requirements

  • Proven product management experience shipping impactful software products in fast-moving environments.
  • Entrepreneurial, hands-on builder mindset with the ability to move from ambiguity to prototypes, shipped products, and iteration.
  • Strong product and UX judgment, especially for simplifying technically complex products.
  • Technical fluency with APIs, integrations, authentication, schemas, data flows, and system constraints.
  • Strong product discovery skills, including user research, problem validation, and focused product decisions.
  • Data fluency, including defining success metrics, analyzing product behavior and funnels, and combining quantitative and qualitative insight.
  • AI-native product thinking and active use of modern AI tools.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience building products for developers or other technical users.
  • Experience with third-party APIs, authentication, developer platforms, or integration ecosystems.
  • Community or open-source product experience.
  • Experience with LLMs, agents, model providers, evaluations, or AI platform capabilities.
  • Experience using prototypes, experiments, and incremental releases.
  • Cloud or SaaS experience, including reliability, scalability, security, and enterprise considerations.
