Responsibilities
Strategic Partnership & Organizational Effectiveness
- Advise senior leaders across Engineering, Product, and Design.
- Partner with executives on organizational design, workforce planning, territory and coverage models, and team effectiveness.
- Partner with Finance on headcount planning, sales compensation design, and compensation cycle execution for go-to-market organizations.
- Build onboarding, ramp, performance calibration, and compensation-cycle playbooks tailored to Engineering, Product, and Design teams.
Performance, Coaching & Culture
- Coach leaders and managers on performance, feedback, and people leadership, including difficult conversations.
- Coach engineering and product leaders on inspection rigor and performance differentiation.
- Drive consistent and fair performance management, promotions, and career development processes.
- Use attrition, impact, and productivity data to identify talent and retention risks proactively.
Employee Relations & Leadership Coaching
- Advise on complex employee relations matters, balancing fairness, business needs, and compliance.
- Advise leaders on communication, recognition, and engagement strategies.
Cross-Functional Collaboration & Change
- Collaborate with People Operations, People Centers of Excellence, and Talent Acquisition to support onboarding, engagement, and employee experience.
- Own change-management initiatives during periods of transformation and growth.
- Define and implement the HRBP operating model for a growing HRBP team.
- Serve as a cultural ambassador and embed company values in leadership and decision-making.
Requirements
- 8+ years of HR experience, with a strong track record as an HRBP or People Partner in high-growth SaaS or technology companies.
- Experience supporting Engineering, Product, and Design teams.
- Experience advising executive and senior leaders across multiple functions.
- Expertise in organizational design, change management, workforce planning, and succession planning.
- Strong understanding of performance management, employee relations, compensation, and engagement practices.
- Ability to scale HRBP or People Partner functions from early stages into mature teams.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build trust at all levels.
- Comfort operating strategically and hands-on in a dynamic, fast-changing environment.
