Engineering Manager, Dedicated Integrations

Responsibilities

• Enable effective execution with quality and speed, in partnership with the team’s Product Manager.
• Ensure three-nines-plus availability of Dedicated infrastructure, while ensuring security and automating for maximum scalability and tenant capacity.
• Provide clear direction and meaningful feedback; foster an environment where toil is aggressively automated and DevOps ownership is enforced.
• Continuously improve owned artifacts to optimize platforms for self-service production ownership by feature implementers.
• Recruit, onboard, and develop excellent, productive team members.
• Provide proofs of concept, demonstrate an agentic mindset, simplify processes, and remove human toil.
• Model incident-management best practices, lead fast resolutions and escalations, and train teams on codified best practices.
• Use data to prioritize work, quantify impact, and manage risk and technical debt.
• Use AI to demonstrate concepts and translate technical complexity into stakeholder decisions.

Requirements

• Proven track record building and owning large-scale distributed services, with sufficient technical depth to guide architecture and technical strategy.
• Experience driving operational excellence and owning services with 99.99% SLOs.
• Experience using AI tooling to improve team productivity, including lessons learned from successes and failures.
• History of building and managing high-performing, accountable team cultures, including managing out when necessary.
• Ability to drive complex projects to completion without relying on a dedicated Technical Program Manager.
• Experience leading distributed and remote teams effectively.
