Responsibilities

  • Audit contingent worker policies and practices to identify gaps and improvement opportunities.
  • Design and implement a comprehensive contingent worker program, including governance, worker classification guidelines, and engagement workflows.
  • Assess misclassification, compliance, and operational risks and recommend mitigation strategies.
  • Develop scalable standard operating procedures for contingent worker intake, onboarding, and offboarding.
  • Own and improve the end-to-end contingent worker onboarding experience.
  • Partner with Procurement on vendor management, statement-of-work processes, and contingent labor spend.
  • Manage contingent worker requests, approvals, and system tracking.
  • Collaborate with Legal, HR, Finance, and hiring managers to meet business and compliance needs.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 5+ years of experience managing contingent workforce, vendor management, or contractor/staffing programs.
  • Experience building or significantly overhauling a contingent worker program, ideally in a high-growth company.
  • Strong understanding of worker classification, compliance risk, and contingent labor best practices.
  • Experience partnering with Procurement on vendor and statement-of-work processes.
  • Experience developing SOPs and operational documentation.
  • Strong project management, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with Vendor Management System (VMS) platforms.
  • Background in legal, compliance, or risk-focused contingent labor functions.
  • Experience in a fast-scaling startup or technology company.
  • Familiarity with global contingent workforce considerations.

Compensation

  • $60.00–$70.00 per hour.
