Software Development Engineer III - Full Stack Development

Build and enhance scalable full-stack web applications and APIs for HighLevel’s Social Planner and related lead-capture products. The role requires 4+ years of full-stack experience, strong JavaScript/TypeScript, Vue.js, Node.js, and GraphQL skills, plus effective remote collaboration.

Responsibilities

Improve and create new lead capture domain models.
Build backend and frontend API features and architecture.
Work cross-functionally across platform, experience, integrations, payments, and marketplace teams.
Drive performance through benchmarking and optimization.
Own and solve problems end to end across diverse systems, processes, and technologies.
Collaborate with engineers, designers, product managers, and leadership to build features and products.
Uphold high engineering standards across multiple codebases and systems.
Work on one to two products.
Create and improve lead capture tools such as funnels, websites, forms, surveys, and social media features.
Architect and build backend and frontend APIs and features.
Develop and maintain a scalable email builder web application supporting approximately 30 million emails per day.
Manage email statistics and integrate with internal teams using email builder templates.
Scale and optimize a countdown timer used across emails, websites, and funnels, with more than 300,000 daily views.
Design and develop Brand Board to help customers build and integrate their brand identity across the platform.
Optimize application performance and scalability using modern development practices.
Troubleshoot, debug, and improve existing systems.

Requirements

4+ years of experience in a full-stack environment.
Proficiency with JavaScript, TypeScript, Vue.js, Node.js, and GraphQL.
Experience with HTML5 and CSS3.
Ability to work collaboratively in a remote team and communicate effectively with cross-functional stakeholders.
Ability to connect multiple services and processes, including unfamiliar systems.
