Senior Product Manager - UI Platform

Owns the technical vision and roadmap for Okta’s UI platform, including UI frameworks, design systems, globalization, and accessibility. The role partners with engineering, design, and research teams and requires substantial enterprise SaaS product management experience plus technical expertise.

Responsibilities

  • Define and champion the technical evolution of Okta's UI framework as the single source of truth for core administrative experiences.
  • Own and execute a complex platform roadmap spanning design systems, globalization, and accessibility.
  • Balance the needs of multiple product lines to deliver a unified developer and end-user experience.
  • Partner with global engineering, design, and research teams to deliver infrastructure at scale.
  • Engage customers and internal stakeholders to synthesize complex requirements into broadly valuable features.
  • Use product data to optimize the internal developer experience and define metrics for platform performance and adoption.
  • Lead roadmap execution with Engineering, UX, and Product scrum teams to deliver high-quality, resilient features.

Requirements

  • 5–8+ years of Product Management experience in enterprise-scale SaaS platforms or core software infrastructure.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or equivalent technical experience.
  • Ability to create actionable plans from incomplete, conflicting, or ambiguous inputs.
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills across global functions and time zones.
  • Demonstrated business results from platform capabilities or products shipped at scale.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience managing design systems, UI frameworks, or core software platforms.
  • Familiarity with Identity and Access Management (IAM), digital security protocols, and enterprise infrastructure.
  • Experience managing localization and globalization at scale.
  • Knowledge of WCAG accessibility standards.
  • Understanding of user-centered design principles and agile development methodologies.
  • Advanced degree in a technical field or an MBA.

Compensation and Benefits

  • Annual base salary range in Canada: $146,000–$200,000 CAD.
