Staff Product Designer

Responsibilities

• Design and refine core experiences across the customer journey, including bank connection, account setup, earnings tracking, and repayment.
• Partner with product managers, engineering, and data teams to define design requirements and validate solutions through research and usability testing.
• Establish and maintain design patterns and systems for consistency and simplicity across Financial Intelligence Platform features.
• Identify friction points in critical flows and design solutions that improve usability, clarity, confidence, and compliance.
• Use research findings and customer feedback to inform design strategy and prioritize measurable improvements.
• Champion quality and polish while meeting reliability, trust, and regulatory standards.
• Collaborate with Compliance, Risk, and Finance teams to meet industry and regulatory requirements.
• Contribute to collaboration, continuous learning, and design excellence.

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience designing consumer-facing digital products, with demonstrated success on core experiences or functionality.
• Strong portfolio demonstrating thoughtful problem-solving, systematic design, and measurable improvements to user satisfaction and retention.
• Deep understanding of financial products, user trust, and designing clear complex workflows.
• Ability to balance creative thinking with research-driven validation and collaborate with data teams to measure impact.
• Excellent storytelling and communication skills, including articulating design rationale to cross-functional stakeholders.
• Proficiency in Figma, prototyping tools, and modern design workflows.
• Ability to work in structured environments with planned roadmaps and drive projects to completion.
• Passion for solving customer problems and improving financial wellness.
