Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end product design for Analytics, including dashboards, reports, visualizations, filters, comparisons, and core product surfaces.
- Partner with Product and Engineering to define problems, identify opportunities, and translate complex customer and business needs into actionable experiences.
- Influence Analytics product vision, strategy, and roadmap through customer-centered and systems-level design thinking.
- Establish scalable interaction models, reusable patterns, consistent mental models, and cohesive workflows across the Analytics ecosystem.
- Extend Weave’s Design System to create accessible, consistent, and scalable experiences.
- Conduct and synthesize research with healthcare practice owners, office managers, and front-office staff.
- Use product analytics, customer feedback, Pendo, and Sigma to evaluate effectiveness and improve experiences.
- Partner with Engineering through implementation to maintain design intent, accessibility, interaction quality, and system cohesion.
- Contribute to the design practice through critiques, strategy, knowledge sharing, thoughtful feedback, and mentorship.
Requirements
- 7+ years of product or UX design experience.
- Proven experience shipping data-intensive products in analytics, business intelligence, SaaS, financial, healthcare, or similar domains.
- Strong UX and visual design fundamentals, including the ability to simplify complex data, workflows, and information architectures.
- Experience designing data-dense interfaces and advanced analytical workflows, including dashboards, reporting, data visualization, filtering, segmentation, drill-downs, and comparisons.
- Strong product design judgment and the ability to frame problems, influence strategy, and make decisions independently.
- Hands-on expertise with Figma, user research and testing methods, and product analytics tools.
- Strong communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to balance customer needs, business goals, technical constraints, and scalability.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accessibility, usability, consistency, and quality.
Nice-to-haves
- Experience with Pendo, Sigma, Maze, or similar platforms.
- Experience with healthcare practices, multi-tenant products, legacy systems, integrations, and technical constraints.
- Experience mentoring designers and raising design quality across a broader design practice.
