Responsibilities
- Own a product area end-to-end: identify opportunities, frame problems, set design direction, and ship alongside Product and Engineering.
- Design complex, multi-step flows for multiple user types while balancing creator needs and member experience.
- Prototype and test rapidly using AI-assisted tools, code-generation workflows, and other methods that produce testable concepts quickly.
- Influence product strategy and roadmap discussions by identifying opportunities and connecting insights across the product.
- Set a high standard for interaction design, visual quality, and product polish.
- Collaborate with engineers and design engineers to turn concepts into working, shippable experiences.
- Raise the broader design team’s quality through feedback, shared frameworks, and strong individual output.
Requirements
- 5–7+ years of product design experience.
- Portfolio demonstrating systems-level thinking, shipped 0-to-1 work, complex multi-user flows, and influence on product direction.
- Experience serving as the most senior designer for a product area, setting direction, making tradeoffs, and owning outcomes independently.
- Strong clickable and realistic prototyping skills.
- Proficiency in Figma.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in ambiguity and build conviction through iteration.
- Active use of AI tools in the design process.
- Spoken, written, and reading English proficiency at CEFR C2 / ILR 5.
Nice-to-haves
- Experience with AI-assisted prototyping tools such as Cursor, Claude Code, v0, or Lovable.
Compensation & Benefits
- $140,000–$170,000 USD per year.
