Program Manager, Technical Enablement

Build and scale technical enablement for customer-facing engineering, including onboarding, knowledge-base governance, and ongoing development. The role requires program management experience, strong technical documentation instincts, and the ability to partner with engineering and cross-functional stakeholders.

Responsibilities

  • Build and own a structured, role-based onboarding program for new Frontier Agentic Engineers, taking hires from environment setup to meaningful technical contribution within 30 days.
  • Define and communicate fully ramped success criteria by role.
  • Audit, consolidate, and maintain the authoritative technical knowledge base for customer-facing engineering.
  • Eliminate fragmented documentation, broken link chains, and stale content.
  • Establish review cadences, document ownership, expiration dates, and clear hierarchies distinguishing canonical and deprecated resources.
  • Tailor documentation for new hires and established engineers.
  • Develop recurring technical enablement through live sessions, asynchronous updates, and release summaries.
  • Identify readiness gaps and create targeted content to address them.
  • Partner with FAE leadership, Enablement, Product, Engineering, Sales, and Delivery stakeholders.
  • Manage concurrent programs, milestones, roadmaps, and program effectiveness reporting.
  • Report program health and outcomes to engineering and Enablement leadership.

Requirements

  • 4+ years of professional experience in enablement, program management, technical training, or a related field.
  • 2+ years of program management experience launching programs in fast-moving environments.
  • Experience supporting technical teams, engineers, solutions engineers, or similar roles at a B2B technology company.
  • Experience building or significantly improving documentation systems.
  • Ability to navigate technical content, identify outdated material, and collaborate with engineers on updates.
  • Excellent written communication skills.
  • Proficiency with AI tools for content creation, summarization, and workflow automation.

Nice to Have

  • Experience with developer tools, AI/ML platforms, or technical products used by engineers.
  • Experience building LMS-based learning paths or onboarding curricula for technical audiences.
  • Familiarity with tiered instructional design or adult learning principles.
  • Experience collaborating with Product, Engineering, or Delivery teams to systematize institutional knowledge.
  • Experience building programs from scratch in a high-growth, venture-backed environment.

Compensation and Benefits

  • Base salary range: $128,000—$150,000 USD.
  • Compensation may include equity and benefits.
  • Benefits may include health, dental, and vision coverage; retirement benefits; a learning and development stipend; generous PTO; and a commuter stipend.
