Responsibilities
Develop, submit, and defend aviation regulatory operational approval requests, waivers, exemptions, and declarations for safe, scalable drone operations.
Guide customers and partners pursuing advanced regulatory projects.
Develop and maintain systems to track and oversee regulatory projects.
Translate emerging regulations into internal guidance and actionable plans.
Support product demonstrations and technical validation events with flight testing and solutions engineering teams.
Advise customer support, product management, and engineering teams on compliant, safe, and scalable use of hardware and software products.
Represent the company in regulatory reviews, audits, and compliance discussions with the FAA and global civil aviation authorities.
Contribute to standards development and participate in industry bodies and consensus forums.
Travel to client sites and technical validation events, including internationally, as required.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in aviation, engineering, public policy, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
Experience navigating regulatory frameworks for unmanned aircraft operations.
Ability to communicate complex technical and regulatory concepts clearly and persuasively to regulators and internal teams.
Experience collaborating cross-functionally in fast-paced, high-growth environments.
Strong ownership, prioritization, written communication, and oral communication skills.

Compensation and Benefits
Annual base salary range: $122,000–$155,000.
