Leads controlling and accounting for a high-growth, multi-entity company, building scalable close processes, internal controls, management reporting, and technical accounting capabilities toward audit and IPO readiness. The role also manages a small team and supports global expansion.

Responsibilities
- Own and accelerate the month-end close across a multi-entity global group.
- Design and implement an AI-native internal control framework using Campfire and Ramp.
- Optimize end-to-end finance processes, including P2P, R2R, and O2C.
- Deliver management reporting and decision-ready financial insights.
- Own technical accounting topics, including consolidation, revenue recognition, and share-based compensation.
- Support new entity launches and global financial infrastructure.
- Lead and grow a team of 2–3 people.
- Build the accounting and controlling function toward audit and IPO readiness.
Requirements
- Experience building a finance function from the ground up; audit experience is a major plus.
- Strong operational accounting skills and in-depth technical accounting knowledge.
- Ability to work from first principles and build processes from scratch.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to contextualize financial results and drive action.
- Technology fluency and a clear vision for leveraging AI in finance.
- Based in or near Amsterdam and willing to work primarily from the office.
