Senior Accounting Manager
The Senior Accounting Manager will own the close and financial reporting processes, lead technical GAAP accounting and controls, and support global expansion, product initiatives, and M&A. The role requires an active CPA license, 8–10 or more years of accounting experience, and strong expertise in high-growth, high-volume environments.

Responsibilities
- Own the monthly, quarterly, and annual close process end to end, including GL operations, journal entries, reconciliations, and balance sheet reviews under US GAAP.
- Research and document technical accounting positions across revenue recognition (ASC 606), business combinations (ASC 805), and internal-use software (ASC 350-40).
- Communicate accounting conclusions clearly to executives and non-accountants.
- Lead financial reporting, support external audits, and build the internal controls framework as the company scales.
- Manage intercompany accounting and consolidated financials across domestic and international entities.
- Scope and implement accounting systems, ERP tools, and automation to improve speed, accuracy, and scalability.
- Partner with legal, product, and business development on product launches, monetization changes, and M&A activity.
- Define and document accounting policies for crypto-native platform activity.
Requirements
- Active CPA license required.
- 8–10 or more years of progressive accounting experience, including high-growth private companies and public company environments.
- 3 or more years of Big 4 public accounting experience strongly preferred.
- Deep technical GAAP knowledge, including researching complex topics, writing clear memos, and explaining conclusions to non-accounting audiences.
- Experience leading a close process in a high-transaction-volume environment.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
- Familiarity with modern finance tools such as Ramp, Brex, or a modern ERP.
- Strong Excel skills and the ability to build and own financial models.

- SQL skills or willingness to learn.
- Experience with international accounting, multi-entity consolidations, or M&A transactions.
