Responsibilities
- Serve as the legal partner for business transactions, partnerships, and operations across the APAC region.
- Provide practical, business-oriented legal advice to Sales, Partnerships, Finance, Procurement, and Operations.
- Identify and address commercial, product, regulatory, privacy, and other legal issues arising from commercial transactions.
- Develop creative, scalable strategies and processes for handling legal issues and supporting responsible growth.
- Monitor and advise on regulatory and compliance matters affecting AI and technology.
- Collaborate with the global legal team to ensure alignment across jurisdictions.
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience across in-house and technology-focused law firm roles.
- Strong background drafting and negotiating complex commercial contracts.
- Comfort working proactively and independently in an entrepreneurial environment.
- Clear communication and strong business judgment.
- Ability to build cross-functional relationships and adapt communication styles to diverse audiences.
- Strong ownership, intellectual curiosity, and enthusiasm for technology.
- Sound judgment in ambiguous or fast-changing situations.
Nice-to-haves
- Australian-qualified lawyer or Korean-qualified lawyer.
- Strong enterprise sales and partnerships experience.
