Commercial Counsel, APAC
Commercial counsel will advise on inbound and outbound technology transactions, privacy, partnerships, and regulatory matters across APAC. The role requires a licensed Singapore attorney with at least five years of commercial contracting experience and strong cross-functional communication skills.

Responsibilities
- Review and negotiate technology-related commercial agreements with customers, including master services and SaaS agreements, data processing addenda, data security addenda, and NDAs.
- Review, negotiate, and structure vendor and partnership agreements.
- Design, implement, and iterate on the legal team’s AI initiatives, policies, processes, and procedures.
- Provide pragmatic legal and strategic support on cross-functional projects.
- Advise cross-functional teams on strategic objectives, global laws, regulations, best practices, and customer requirements.
- Collaborate with product, engineering, security, and other business units to embed privacy-by-design principles in products, services, and business arrangements.
Requirements
- Licensed Singapore-based attorney.
- 5+ years of experience drafting and negotiating inbound and outbound commercial agreements, including SaaS agreements, with minimal supervision.
- Experience negotiating data protection agreements and advising on data privacy matters.
- Experience with product and regulatory counseling related to healthcare, financial services, consumer protection, and data security.
- Strong project management, communication, collaboration, prioritization, and attention-to-detail skills.
- Ability to provide practical, balanced solutions that reduce company risk and meet demanding deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
