Senior Product Manager - Commerce Operations
Own the operational backbone of HighLevel’s commerce platform, spanning subscriptions, orders, fulfillment, inventory, taxation, accounting, and public APIs. The role requires 7+ years of product management experience, deep commerce and financial-systems expertise, and a platform-oriented approach to building reliable shared infrastructure.

Responsibilities
- Own the Commerce Operations roadmap across Orders, Subscriptions, Transactions, Inventory, Fulfillment, Taxation, Coupons, and Gift Cards.
- Build subscription lifecycle management covering plans, entitlements, renewals, upgrades, downgrades, pauses, dunning, recurring charges, usage-based plans, and trials.
- Define HighLevel’s internal accounting layer as the authoritative system of record for money-in and money-out events.
- Design integrations with third-party accounting software, including accurate field mapping, reconciliation, and automated synchronization.
- Own order management and fulfillment workflows, including creation, modification, fulfillment, partial fulfillment, returns, and cancellations.
- Ensure operational entities such as orders, fulfillment events, invoices, subscriptions, and payments are optional and composable.
- Lead inventory management for stock levels, reservations, adjustments, multi-location support, and low-stock signals.
- Shape taxation infrastructure for tax calculation, tax-code mapping, and compliance across transaction types and geographies.
- Define coupon, promotion, and gift-card infrastructure, including validation, issuance, redemption, balance tracking, and accounting.
- Own the public commerce operations API for developers, agencies, and marketplace partners, including contract design, versioning, stability, and extensibility.
- Coordinate with PIM, Documents, Onboarding, and Payments teams to align shared primitives and downstream operational events.
Requirements
- 7+ years of product management experience, including platform or infrastructure product management at high-growth SaaS companies.
- Significant experience with transactional or financial systems.
- Deep familiarity with order management, subscription billing, inventory, fulfillment, and transaction or ledger systems.
- Understanding of underlying data models and merchant workflows.
- Fluency with ledger mechanics, double-entry accounting concepts, reconciliation, and financial data integrity.
- Experience building and owning public APIs used by external developers.
- Strong understanding of API contract design, versioning strategies, stability guarantees, and developer experience.
- Platform-first mindset focused on shared infrastructure, clear contracts, stakeholder management, and long-term extensibility.
- Strong ownership, independent decision-making, and execution across complex interconnected domains.
