Responsibilities
- Define product strategy and roadmap for a core area of an AI application platform.
- Own the product lifecycle from discovery and vision through roadmap, delivery, launch, iteration, and adoption.
- Conduct customer discovery with AI-native startups and enterprises to understand workflows and pain points.
- Write product narratives, memos, specifications, and other documentation to align stakeholders and clarify trade-offs.
- Partner with Engineering, Design, Product Marketing, Partners, Sales, and Developer Relations to scope, prioritize, ship, position, launch, and enable products.
- Identify new opportunities, research industry trends, and run customer discovery sessions.
- Define success metrics, prioritize work, make trade-offs, and communicate impact.
- Develop expertise in agentic workflows, retrieval and memory, evaluation, observability, and AI application deployment patterns.
Requirements
- 5+ years of product management experience or equivalent building platforms, infrastructure, or developer-facing products.
- Experience in cloud, data, or AI products.
- Proven end-to-end ownership of a product area from problem framing and vision through roadmap, execution, launch, and iteration.
- Strong customer discovery and product decision-making skills.
- Excellent written, verbal, and stakeholder communication skills, including technical documentation and presentations.
- Technical depth sufficient to collaborate with senior engineers on distributed systems, cloud services, and AI/ML tooling.
- Curiosity about AI application patterns, including agents, orchestration frameworks, retrieval-augmented generation, and fine-tuning.
- Comfort working with ambiguity and defining problems, success metrics, and execution paths.
Nice-to-haves
- Experience building developer tools, AI platforms, or MLOps/LLMOps products.
- Engineering background or extensive experience partnering with engineering on technical products.
- Experience with enterprise customers and mission-critical workloads.
- Experience using AI tools such as Claude, Gemini, or Figma Make.
