Engineering Effectiveness Manager
Leads cross-engineering programs, enablement initiatives, operational improvements, and reporting mechanisms while coordinating across engineering, recruiting, product, and people teams. Requires 4–7 years in technical program management, delivery, or operations and strong influence, facilitation, and metrics skills.

Responsibilities
- Lead cross-engineering program delivery, including timelines, dependencies, stakeholder communications, outcomes, blocker removal, and execution clarity.
- Design and operationalize learning and enablement programs for skill development, new-engineer onboarding, and emerging technology adoption.
- Identify capability gaps, create learning paths, and measure program participation and outcomes.
- Coordinate engineering-wide forums and rituals, including functional kickoffs, all-hands, internal demos, roundtables, technology blogs, and technical showcases.
- Drive process and operational improvements that reduce friction and strengthen consistency.
- Build dashboards, metrics frameworks, and communication channels that provide visibility into progress, engineering health, and blockers.
- Partner with recruiting and people teams on employer positioning, technical hiring events, sourcing, onboarding, and early-career development.
- Support the Development phase of the Product Development Lifecycle by ensuring teams have the tools, processes, and enablement needed for execution.
- Own high-priority initiatives and workstreams as engineering priorities evolve.
Requirements
- 4–7 years of experience in program management, delivery, operations, or a similar role in a technical environment.
- Experience managing cross-functional initiatives and driving execution in matrixed environments.
- Experience designing and implementing learning, development, or enablement programs.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities and projects.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, including group facilitation and leadership representation.
- Experience with data-driven decision-making and defining and tracking metrics.
- Ability to influence and coordinate across silos without direct authority.
- Ability to work in a hybrid environment with regular in-office presence three days per week.
Nice to Have
- Familiarity with product development tools and processes, including CI/CD, Jira, and GitHub.
Compensation
- New York City base salary: $131,000–$169,000 per year.
