Responsibilities
- Own the design operating model for planning and delivery, including estimation, sequencing, handoffs, dependencies, and timeline-risk visibility.
- Define design-readiness criteria and coordinate pre-launch quality reviews covering craft, responsiveness, accessibility, and edge cases.
- Establish working interfaces between Design, Product Management, Engineering, User Research, and Technical Writing, including scope alignment, dependency tracking, and conflict resolution.
- Build and champion lightweight design-operations rhythms, frameworks, and templates, including design briefs and critique structures.
- Manage design resourcing and bandwidth tracking to inform staffing decisions and identify capacity constraints.
- Build and maintain reporting on design capacity, throughput, and readiness for product and executive leadership.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience in Design Program Management or Design Operations supporting product design teams.
- Experience in complex, enterprise B2B SaaS or data-heavy environments.
- Ability to balance competing priorities across stakeholders and guide teams through ambiguity with structure and prioritization.
- Experience building and scaling design-operations frameworks, delivery plans, and resource-tracking processes.
- Excellent communication and storytelling skills, including translating design progress and trade-offs into business-relevant narratives for leadership.
- Strong understanding of user-centered design methodologies and modern UX workflows.
- Experience with Figma and project-tracking tools such as Jira.
- Authorized to work in the United States without restrictions.
