Leads a team of product designers building complex HCM and HRIS experiences, while serving as the India design site lead. The role requires extensive product design and people-management experience, strong systems thinking, and expertise in AI-native or automation-driven enterprise products.

Responsibilities
- Lead and grow a team of product designers across the HCM product suite, driving high-impact work across HR, Talent, Benefits, and Workforce Management.
- Design and deliver complex, business-critical experiences that are intuitive, scalable, and trustworthy across global and regulatory contexts.
- Define and drive AI-native experiences using automation, intelligent defaults, and agentic systems to reduce operational overhead.
- Set a high bar for craft, quality, and execution by mentoring designers, providing actionable feedback, and fostering a high-performing team environment.
- Drive end-to-end product thinking from problem definition and research through execution and iteration across both 0-to-1 initiatives and mature product areas.
- Partner with Product, Engineering, and cross-functional stakeholders to define product strategy, prioritize initiatives, and deliver ambitious roadmaps.
- Establish systems thinking across the team through patterns and frameworks that scale across products and ensure platform consistency.
- Translate complex operational, compliance, and workforce challenges into simple, elegant experiences for administrators and employees.
- Champion customer understanding in global HR, compliance, and hourly workforce management.
- Contribute to and evolve the design system to enable consistency, quality, and speed.
- Drive alignment across interdependent HRIS, Time, and platform systems.
- Serve as the India Design Site Lead by fostering office culture, collaboration, and site-wide operational leadership.
Requirements
- 10+ years of professional product design experience.
- 5+ years leading and managing design teams.
- Track record delivering high-impact, customer-facing products in complex domains such as HCM/HRIS, fintech, enterprise software, or workforce management.
- Ability to navigate ambiguity and large problem spaces, turning complex systems into intuitive experiences.
- Strong systems thinking and experience designing across interconnected products or platforms.
- Experience defining and shipping AI-native or automation-driven experiences, including intelligent workflows, decision support, or agentic systems.
- Experience owning end-to-end product design from strategy and roadmap definition through execution and quality assurance.
- Ability to lead, mentor, and grow designers at different experience levels.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Strong product judgment balancing user needs, business goals, and technical constraints.
- Deep customer focus and experience translating real-world workflows into effective product experiences.
- Bias toward action, ownership, and clarity in fast-paced environments.
- Strong leadership presence and ability to manage site operations and cultivate a high-performing design community.
