Responsibilities

  • Manage the Client Foundations engineering team within Access Essentials.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally and across teams, with responsibility for product outcomes, team health, and customer satisfaction.
  • Define the team’s product and technical strategy and roadmap.
  • Provide technical leadership on scalable, maintainable systems and uphold a high quality bar through testing and test automation.
  • Enable team processes to organize and deliver high-impact projects.
  • Build a collaborative team environment, recruit engineers, and develop existing talent.
  • Lead career management, expectation setting, blocker removal, feedback, and coaching.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience managing engineering teams while balancing new product development with maintenance of existing features.
  • 10–15 years of prior software development experience, including at least 4 years as a macOS, iOS, or Android engineer.
  • Experience with stakeholder management, including alignment, prioritization, communication, and incorporating feedback.
  • Demonstrated ability to deliver outcomes while balancing constraints and tight deadlines.
  • Strong knowledge of software development life cycle practices, testing automation, release orchestration, feature flags, configuration management, and CI/CD platforms.
  • Knowledge of secure web development fundamentals, fault-tolerant systems, and cloud technologies.
