Responsibilities
- Advise customers on strategies and documented practices for making best use of MongoDB cloud products.
- Translate technical concepts and patterns into generalist terms for customers.
- Help customers understand, install, and use applications effectively.
- Troubleshoot technical problems across MongoDB cloud products and varied environments.
- Advocate for users’ needs by collaborating with product management and development teams.
Requirements
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Knowledge of a wide range of internet technologies.
- Solid fundamentals in Linux and networking.
- Knowledge of Amazon Web Services or another major cloud provider.
- Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot problems across varied environments.
- Patience, empathy, and a genuine desire to help others.
- Previous technical support experience.
Nice-to-haves
- Fluency in a foreign language, especially Spanish, Japanese, or Mandarin.
- Industry certifications such as Red Hat Certified Engineer or AWS Certified Solutions Architect.
- Fundamental understanding of MongoDB or other databases, such as Elasticsearch, MySQL, or PostgreSQL.
