Ocean Operations Associate
Executes ocean freight bookings, documentation, shipment troubleshooting, and special freight operations while supporting clients, carriers, and internal teams. Requires a bachelor's degree and at least three years of relevant logistics, supply chain, ocean carrier operations, or consulting experience.

Responsibilities
- Execute booking and documentation processes with clients and carriers.
- Troubleshoot shipments promptly and escalate or handle exceptions.
- Work closely with account management and planning teams to ensure effective end-to-end export processes.
- Coach junior specialists on daily tasks.
- Plan and execute special freight operations, including dangerous goods and reefer shipments.
- Assist the Senior Associate with new business and process implementation, projects, and new tasks.
- Support internal and external clients in making informed decisions using operational expertise.
- Maintain a high standard of operational quality and service while acting with integrity.
- Inform business process and software capability needs to help scale the team while improving quality, service, efficiency, and regulatory compliance.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of procedures and systems that differentiate operations from the broader industry.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent (BA/BS).
- At least 3 years of experience in logistics, freight forwarding, supply chain, ocean carrier operations, or consulting.
- Ocean freight knowledge is a plus.
