Responsibilities
- Define and own the end-to-end technical architecture for reusable assets and solutions.
- Establish architectural standards, patterns, and best practices for the development team.
- Evaluate technologies, frameworks, and platforms against project requirements and long-term goals.
- Mentor engineers and the Development Manager on complex technical challenges and architecture.
- Lead design reviews and ensure alignment with architecture and security standards.
- Collaborate with Product Management on technical feasibility and the R&D roadmap.
- Prototype and spike technologies and approaches to reduce project risk and drive innovation.
Requirements
- 10+ years of software engineering experience, including at least 3+ years in technical leadership or architect roles.
- Expert knowledge of software architecture principles, design patterns, and distributed systems.
- Experience designing and building applications with multiple programming languages and front-end frameworks.
- Extensive experience with public cloud platforms and cloud-native solutions.
- Strategic thinking and the ability to create a long-term technical vision.
- Understanding of security best practices and identity concepts, including IAM, OAuth, and SAML.
- Exceptional communication and influencing skills for diverse audiences.
