Responsibilities
- Lead one of our engineering teams (Banking, Catalog, or Prepaid Cards).
- Grow engineers' careers through 1:1s, thoughtful feedback, and coaching.
- Own technical quality through code reviews, architecture decisions, and setting standards.
- Report to Director of Engineering.
- Lead on AI adoption without lowering quality standards.
Requirements
- 8+ years of experience in software engineering, including at least 2 years leading a team as a manager or tech lead.
- Great technical judgment and ability to explain approaches.
- Strong communication skills for technical briefs and cross-functional explanations.
- Solid product intuition to articulate initiatives to engineers.
- Magnet for talent with high empathy for teammates and users.
