Product Marketing Manager, Model API
The Product Marketing Manager will lead positioning, go-to-market launches, technical content, and sales enablement for Baseten’s Model API. The role requires 3+ years of product marketing experience, technical fluency in AI and LLMs, and the ability to engage developer and enterprise audiences.

Responsibilities
- Develop differentiated positioning and messaging for Baseten’s inference platform targeting developers and enterprise customers.
- Shape market narrative around closed- and open-weight models and inference requirements.
- Own go-to-market launches for new features and products in collaboration with product, engineering, sales, and growth teams.
- Create white papers, technical blogs, demos, and customer case studies.
- Build sales-enablement resources and programs.
- Conduct competitive and market analysis to inform product positioning.
Requirements
- 3–8+ years of product marketing experience, preferably in developer tools, cloud infrastructure, or SaaS.
- Proven success creating technical product marketing content and campaigns for developer audiences.
- Working understanding of the LLM landscape, including post-training, open-weight and closed models, and training techniques.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to simplify complex concepts.
- Technical aptitude and comfort working with engineering teams.
- Familiarity with developer ecosystems, APIs, and modern software development practices.
- Experience working at a fast-moving startup and managing multiple stakeholders.
