Responsibilities
- Embed with the Growth team to define the roadmap and vision and lead design work.
- Own funnel optimization, new-user experience, personalization, onboarding, and merchandising design.
- Use AI to create personalized customer experiences.
- Design growth systems, experiments, and product features based on quantitative and qualitative insights.
- Improve seamless, accessible, and delightful experiences for SMB users.
- Facilitate workshops and develop high-quality ideas.
- Translate complex information into simple, high-fidelity user experiences.
- Partner with interdisciplinary teams to conceptualize, build, and ship user-friendly, business-driven products.
- Participate in and independently conduct UX research and testing.
- Advocate for users, communicate ideas and feedback, challenge assumptions, and share design best practices.
Requirements
- Portfolio demonstrating high-quality work that directly impacted project success.
- 7+ years of professional design experience, including 4 years on growth teams or in ecommerce and merchandising.
- Experience driving improvements in conversion, basket price, and product adoption.
- Experience with onboarding and merchandising surfaces and iterative experimentation, including A/B testing.
- Ability to identify and conduct UX research and testing independently.
- Strong craft, critical thinking, strategic thinking, and business judgment in complex, fast-paced environments.
- Understanding of psychology, user behavior, contemporary design patterns, and design best practices.
- Ability to align projects with team goals and communicate effectively through design explorations, research, documentation, and presentations.

- Experience with behavioral science.
- Experience with B2B companies focused on SMBs.
Compensation and Benefits
- San Francisco, CA: $210,000-$247,000 USD on-target earnings or base salary.
- Denver, CO: $178,000-$209,000 USD on-target earnings or base salary.
