Responsibilities
- Scale and harden AWS infrastructure to meet growing enterprise demand
- Analyze request logs, debug event streams, and improve system reliability
- Design and build backend services, APIs, and data pipelines that power our AI platform
- Work directly with customers to understand real-world healthcare workflows, scope integrations, and translate requirements into product specs
- Build internal tooling to automate workflows and increase team leverage
- Write evals to identify weaknesses and drive improvements in our LLM-powered systems
- Work across the stack when needed — from backend services to frontend — to ship complete solutions
- Contribute to Anterior's SDKs, developer documentation, and platform architecture
Requirements
- Depth in backend and/or infrastructure
- Experience building APIs, integrations, data pipelines, and distributed systems
- Experience scaling and hardening cloud infrastructure (serious AWS footprint)
- Owned system design decisions, shipped to production, operated at scale
- Led projects, mentored junior engineers, made architectural decisions
- Passion for fundamentals: system design, architecture (pacelc, consistency guarantees), writing code that lasts
