Tech Procurement Specialist
Own end-to-end technology procurement, vendor negotiations, and commercial modeling for a fast-growing software company. The role partners closely with Finance, Legal, Product, Engineering, and Partnerships while building scalable procurement processes and automation.

Responsibilities
- Own technology sourcing and vendor negotiations end to end, from requirements and market scans through RFP/RFQ, commercial modeling, legal negotiation, approval, signature, and renewal readiness.
- Partner with Finance, Legal, Product, Engineering, and Partnerships on requirements, risk, vendor fit, implementation risk, and deal economics.
- Support strategic partnerships and complex customer, vendor, partner, and infrastructure-buyer relationships.
- Develop scenarios, walk-away positions, and concise recommendation memos.
- Improve procurement intake, approvals, contract lifecycle management, and metadata for contracts, renewals, SLAs, and vendor intelligence.
- Automate vendor research, contract extraction, renewal alerts, benchmarking, approval routing, and negotiation preparation.
Requirements
- Experience in technology procurement, strategic sourcing, or vendor management.
- Strong commercial negotiation skills, including offer comparison, leverage assessment, contract structuring, escalation, and decision-making.
- Technical fluency sufficient to partner with Product and Engineering and assess vendor claims and requirements.
- Financial rigor with pricing structures, commitments, credits, discounts, ramps, usage scenarios, renewal options, minimums, and overages.
- Ability to model economics and translate deal structures into clear recommendations.
- Process-oriented approach to building repeatable playbooks and reliable data systems.
- Comfort working with contract, invoice, billing, usage, and vendor-portal data.
- Familiarity with vendor platforms and benchmarking sources.

- SQL, scripting, or no-code automation experience.
- Experience using AI to improve procurement workflows.
- Experience with contract lifecycle management, procurement intake, or approval systems.
