Responsibilities
- Lead technical design: Provide guidance and mentorship on design patterns, code quality, and engineering best practices across the backend.
- Build scalable systems: Develop, maintain, and optimize fault-tolerant services using Go to support our growing fintech ecosystem.
- Architect SaaS solutions: Design and evolve distributed systems, focusing on data modeling, concurrency, and resiliency patterns.
- Collaborate cross-functionally: Partner with product, design, and operations teams to translate complex requirements into high-impact features.
- Ensure reliability: Implement robust observability and testing strategies to maintain a high bar for performance and stability in a regulated environment.
Requirements
- At least 4 years of backend engineering experience, specifically with Golang and MySQL.
- Some experience with Claude prompt engineering.
- Based in Atlanta, GA (hybrid).
Nice-to-Haves
- Experience with AWS (Terraform/Terragrunt) or similar.
- Prior experience in Fintech or regulated industries, specifically with payments, reconciliation, or transaction/ledger systems.
