Responsibilities
- Develop customer engagement strategies in partnership with Account Executives in the designated territory.
- Coach junior Solutions Architects and teams on use-case prioritization and building technical champions.
- Influence stakeholders at all levels through complex engagements with the wider cloud ecosystem and third-party applications.
- Serve as an expert solutions architect and trusted advisor for significant data analytics architecture, design, and adoption of the Databricks Data Intelligence Platform.
- Contribute to technical community engagement by developing customer-facing collateral and leading workshops, seminars, and meetups.
- Continue professional development through technical specialization, industry vertical thought leadership, strategic customer vision, or people management.
Requirements
- Experience with complex customer interactions and the technical pre-sales sales lifecycle.
- Ability to influence decision-makers and C-level executives by developing relationships and orchestrating teams to achieve long-term customer success.
- Prior coding experience in a core programming language such as Python, Java, or Scala, with willingness to learn a foundational level of Spark.
- Hands-on expertise with complex proofs of concept and public cloud platforms.
- Ability to provide technical solutions for specialized customer needs and navigate a competitive landscape.
