What You’ll Do
- Lead a company-wide brand refresh — logo, visual identity, messaging, and tone — ensuring consistency across the company deck, website, product, swag, and every other touchpoint
- Own brand messaging and craft the core messaging pillars, and be able to clearly articulate and defend them internally and externally
- Take direct ownership of commercials and other brand advertising campaigns, from concept through production
- Set and maintain brand guidelines, and mandate how the brand shows up across social and organic channels (partnering closely with the social team on execution)
- Manage the in-house creative team and asset production, and manage relationships with outside creative and production agencies
- Partner cross-functionally with product, comms, and executive stakeholders to keep brand and messaging aligned company-wide
- Build the foundation for scaling brand marketing as the team and company grow
What You’ll Bring
- 8+ years of brand marketing experience, spanning both agency (account side) and in-house brand marketing at a consumer-facing company
- Experience at a recognizable, culturally relevant consumer brand or platform
- Brand marketing experience managing external brand advertising campaigns
- Experience working with digital media creators
- Experience working with all social platforms on organic and paid campaigns
- Proven ability to manage and direct commercial/brand advertising production, including working with agencies and production partners
- Experience managing an in-house creative team and/or creative asset production
- Excellent communication and messaging instincts — able to set and evangelize brand guidelines across an organization
- A builder's mindset — excited to create brand infrastructure from scratch, not just maintain what exists
