Technical Senior Manager, Fund Tax
Lead the Fund Tax team, managing tax professionals and partnering with product/engineering to automate K-1 delivery and connect fund administration with tax products for private market clients.

Responsibilities
- Partner with product and engineering to transform the LP experience with K-1s that are released and automated on the software platform
- Ensure a reliable connection between fund administration and tax products to deliver a seamless client experience
- Manage a team of talented tax professionals that service the client base
- Work collaboratively with cross-functional stakeholders and organizations to support the growth of the business
- Partner closely with the Head of Fund Tax, R&D, and the delivery team to transform how tax is delivered
- Help lead a talented organization of tax professionals energized by automating and transforming the FA tax space
Requirements
- 8+ years of applicable tax experience
- Self-starter who can identify potential issues and work to mitigate before they surface
- Passionate and knowledgeable about venture capital and/or private equity; intimately understand the pressures facing clients
- Organized and calm under pressure; able to manage competing demands while persevering to solve ambiguous problems
- Ability to work cross functionally and drive progress forward
- Intimately understand the health and needs of Carta’s venture client ecosystem and use this knowledge to prioritize growth plans and improve customer engagement and loyalty
- Strong critical thinking, problem solving, and decision making skills
