Responsibilities
- Define testing strategies, objectives, and success criteria.
- Design, develop, and maintain robust, scalable automation frameworks for web, API, performance, and backend applications.
- Create and execute automated functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end test suites.
- Integrate automated test execution into CI/CD pipelines.
- Collaborate with developers and product teams to identify test scenarios and acceptance criteria.
- Improve test coverage and reduce manual testing through automation.
- Review and enhance existing automation processes and frameworks.
- Analyze test results, identify defects, and work with development teams on resolution.
- Design and execute load, stress, spike, endurance, scalability, and capacity tests.
- Identify application bottlenecks across application, database, network, and infrastructure layers.
- Analyze performance metrics and provide optimization recommendations.
- Partner with developers, architects, DevOps, and operations teams to improve system performance.
- Validate system scalability and reliability under expected and peak workloads.
- Establish performance baselines and monitor trends across releases.
- Support production-readiness reviews and performance-tuning initiatives.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, engineering, information technology, or a related field.
- 7+ years of experience in software quality engineering, with a strong focus on automation and performance testing.
- Strong experience designing automation frameworks and performance-testing solutions.
- Hands-on experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies and DevOps practices.
- Experience working with cloud-native and microservices-based applications.
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder-management abilities.
- Ability to influence engineering teams with data-driven recommendations.
- Self-motivated and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong mentoring and technical leadership skills.
